Joshua Zeichner, MD FAAD, is an Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan and board-certified in Dermatology.
As the Director of Cosmetic and Clinical Research in the Dermatology Department, Dr. Zeichner is actively involved in clinical trials for both medical and aesthetic skin concerns. With broad interests in both medical and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Zeichner specializes in treating acne and rosacea, as well as improving the cosmetic appearance

aging skin. Through non-invasive procedures in the office, prescription medications, and education on over-the-counter products, Dr. Zeichner tailors his treatments to suit the specific cosmetic needs of his patients.
Dr. Zeichner is frequently called on by the national media as a skin care expert. He has also been quoted in national newspapers, including The New York Times.
Dr. Zeichner's research has been published in the top peer-reviewed Dermatology journals, and he frequently lectures to international audiences. He serves as an investigator, advisory board member, consultant, and speaker for various pharmaceutical companies, and his professional affiliations include the American Academy of Dermatology, American Acne & Rosacea Society, and the Skin Cancer Foundation.
Dr. Zeichner is a Manhattan native. After attending the University of Pennsylvania for his undergraduate education, Dr. Zeichner attended the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He then completed his Dermatology residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. In addition, he finished a two-year Dermatopharmacology Fellowship before joining the faculty full time.
