Joshua Zeichner, MD FAAD, is an Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan and board-certified in Dermatology.
As the Director of Cosmetic and Clinical Research in the Dermatology Department, Dr. Zeichner is actively involved in clinical trials for all skin conditions including acne, psoriasis, eczema/atopic dermatitis, and actinic keratoses/skin cancer.
He has broad interests in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Zeichner treats both medical problems including

acne, rosacea, skin cancer, eczema, and psoriasis. In addition, he is a specialist in improving the appearance of aging skin. Through the use of prescription medications, office procedures, over the counter products, and patient education/preventative measures, Dr. Zeichner individualizes his treatments to suit his patients' needs.
Dr. Zeichner serves as an investigator, advisory board member, consultant, and speaker for various pharmaceutical companies. His professional affiliations include the American Academy of Dermatology, American Acne & Rosacea Society, Skin Cancer Foundation, and National Psoriasis Foundation.
Dr. Zeichner's work has been published in the top peer-reviewed Dermatology journals, and he has lectured to international audiences.
Dr. Zeichner is a Manhattan native. After attending the University of Pennsylvania for his undergraduate education, Dr. Zeichner attended the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He then completed his Dermatology residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. In addition, he finished a two-year Dermatopharmacology fellowship before joining the faculty full time.
